It Came Upon A Midnight Clear (Free)

It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, with words by Edmund Sears music by Richard Storrs Willis, is a standard of the Season of Advent. But it was originally composed as a meditation on the struggles and strife of contemporary life. In this revised Jazz Hymnal edition, arranger Chuck Marohnic provides a solemn, gentle harmonic setting that honors the character of the original melody.

The music is notated in traditional, solo piano fashion. It also includes chord symbols, allowing both classical and jazz pianists to enjoy performing the arrangement.
